On Thursday, April 7 from 7:00-8:30 p.m., The Betty will gather outdoors (weather permitting) on the lawn at 4428 Guess Rd., Durham So, bring a lawn chair, a blanket and a friend. Parking details to follow. 

The Betty is an effort to create a space for women to bear witness to the amazing/head-scratching/wonderful/impossible/painful/glorious/joyful work of God in our lives.

This spring we will hear stories of "Before and After." We'd love to hear stories of shifts: large or small accounts of how God took a moment, a situation, a work of art, a lost car key, a Bon Jovi song—anything that changed your understanding of him—and what life has been like since. We invite 3-4 women to share a reading, recite a poem, do a comedy sketch, or tell a short story about their own ‘before and after’. Humorous content and serious reflections are all welcome.
