Household Items Needed for Afghan Refugee Families

Blacknall directly supports several Afghan refugee families, including a family of 11 (nine children ages 4-20 yrs.) for whom we are currently collecting donations. Please consider donating an item on this list.

Blacknall also recently got connected with another family who needs basic household items. Please consider donating an item on this list for this family. The items do not need to be new if they are in good condition.

If you would like to stay up-to-date on the most current needs for the Afghan families that Blacknall supports, please join the group in CCB called “Refugee Good Neighbor Team” in CCB.

There are three delivery options: 

1. Bring items directly to the family’s home (you may be invited for a cup of tea); 

2.  Have items directly shipped to the family’s home address; or

3. Drop items off at Andrea Tshihamba’s home (4905 Montvale Dr., Durham, NC 27705).
